How to use it

To use the Plegium Smart Button, you first set it up via the free Plegium app, connecting via Bluetooth and adding contacts; then, in an emergency, you press and hold both side buttons for two seconds, and your emergency contacts will receive a phone call and a GPS location text with your real-time position. The app needs to be open or running in the background.

Shipping:
Currently, we only ship within the Republic of Ireland. Shipping costs are automatically calculated during checkout based on your location and the weight of your order. This ensures you get the most accurate shipping rate possible.

Returns:
If you receive a faulty product, please contact us immediately so we can arrange the most suitable solution for you. If you simply change your mind, you can return any unused and undamaged item in its original packaging within 14 days from the date of purchase. The buyer is responsible for covering the return postage costs. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a refund using the same payment method you used.

Please note that this returns policy does not affect your statutory rights. Under Irish consumer law, you are entitled to certain protections, including the right to a refund, repair, or replacement for faulty goods.

Troubleshooting

The Plegium Smart Button has a 4-year non-rechargeable battery life and uses a replaceable CR2032 lithium button battery.

If the device isn't flashing green when both buttons are held for 2 seconds, the battery is likely depleated.

To Replace the Battery

Prepare a small screwdriver to access the battery compartment.
Unscrew the battery cover located on the bottom or back of the device.
Remove the old battery, gently shaking it out or prying it out carefully.
Insert a new CR2032 battery with the correct orientation (refer to internal markings if present).
Secure the cover by replacing the screws.

After Battery Replacement

Test the button: Press and hold both side buttons for 2 seconds. You should see a bright green flash, indicating the device is working.
Ensure the Plegium App is running in the background on your phone. The button connects via Bluetooth, and the app must be active to receive the signal and send alerts to your emergency contacts.
Perform a test alarm to ensure full functionality. You can do this by following the test procedure within the Plegium app or by pressing the designated test switch if your model has one. Be sure to notify your emergency contacts beforehand if you are doing a live test that calls them.
